According to the European Energy Directive newly installed meters from 25th of October 2020 must be remotely readable. Existing meters must be replaced or remotely connected by 1st of January 2027. The data from the meters must also be accessible by the end customers.

• Repeaters extend the range between the gateway and the meters to ease the construction of remote reading systems or cover hard to get areas.
• Lansen range extender improves signal reception of the repeater and thus improves the reception and range between the meter and the gateway.
